Groups

Each week, members of our community meet in small groups to share questions and observations about their own inner work. Keeping with the nature of the Work as a means to develop consciousness in life, groups serve as a means for members focus on a particular practice or line of inquiry that they've carried throughout the week.

The groups are led by experienced members of the community who provide an opportunity to look more deeply at various ideas of the work. As groups mature, an atmosphere of exchange and dialogue develops. Over time, self-directed efforts create a backdrop for enlarging the understanding of all members. In all cases, groups are built on mutual respect for our shared work, confidentiality, and a sincere effort to bring observations that are rooted in one's own experience.

“In properly organized groups no faith is required; what is required is simply a little trust and even that only for a little while, for the sooner a man begins to verify all he hears the better it is for him… Accept nothing you cannot verify for yourself.”
- G.I. Gurdjieff
