" Take the understanding of the East and the knowledge of the West - and then seek."
- G.I. Gurdjieff

Gurdjieff studied and synthesized the traditions of a variety of ancient teachings for use in the West.
The work is a comprehensive, integrated system of ideas and practices that can lead to the awakening of a greater spiritual understanding of oneself and one's world.
Learn more about the sacred dances or "Movements" brought to the west by Mr. Gurdjieff.
G.I. Gurdjieff and Thomas DeHartmann collaborated to produce a significant body of music for listening, playing, movements, and study.
